• St. Andrew’s Church: Built by the Portuguese Jesuits in 1575, St. Andrew’s Church was the only church in Bandra until the first quarter of the 17th century. One of the oldest churches in Mumbai, it features very high altars carved and painted in popular Portuguese styles. The 16th- century hanging wood panels depict the Resurrection of the Christ and the Assumption of Mother Mary. Besides, the church also houses one of the largest and oldest stone crosses in Mumbai.

• Portuguese Church: As the name suggests, it was built by the Portuguese Franciscans in 1596, making it one of the oldest churches in Mumbai. The massive church located in Dadar (known as Lower Mahim in the 16th century) attracts the attention of visitors for its simple design and rudimentary elements of church construction.
